I’ve been thinking a lot about what to write in my blog. I’ve had several ideas, but nothing has really jumped out to me. Until, I heard the raspy, rough voice, of singer Louis Armstrong.
“What A Wonderful World”, is one of those songs really needs no introduction. It’s simple. It’s timeless. It’s a tear-jerker. And, in this time of, “Stay Home. Stay Safe.” when hugs and handshakes seem like a distant memory, this song caught my ear. Just read, and soak in, the simplicity of these lyrics.
I see trees of green, red roses too. I see them bloom, for me and you. And I think to myself, “What A Wonderful World”.
I see skies of blue and clouds of white, the bright blessed days, the dark sacred nights. And I think to myself, “What A Wonderful World”.
The colors in the rainbow, so pretty in the sky. Are also on the faces of friends passing by. I see friends shaking hands, saying, “How do you do?” They’re really saying, “I Love You”.
I hear babies cry, I watch them grow. They’ll learn much more than I’ll ever know. And I think to myself, “What a wonderful world”. I think to myself, “What A Wonderful World”.
It’s springtime. There are more people walking in the streets than I can ever remember. And, although we have to be 6 feet apart, we can still say, “Hello”. Because, what we’re really saying is, “I Love You”.
Listen for the birds singing. Look down at the green grass. Look up, and soak up the blue skies. And, while you’re at, say ‘hello’ to God, he loves that, too.
Try it today. Don’t pass by a stranger, or let a stranger pass you by, without simply saying, “Hello”. You have idea how that 5 letter word could change their day.

Say ‘hello’. Keep making a difference. And, always Run By Faith.
Indeed, perspective can change a lot of things. 🙂
